Awesome pink boots part deux

Tuesday Oct 12

Recap from last night...
Alex:  How do I turn off the computer (all text is in spanish)
Pamm:  You don't have to.  It turns itself off.
(Alex quizzical look)
Amanda:  I turn it off
Pamm:  No, it just goes off automatically.
Amanda:  No, dear.  When you go to bed it is still on.  When I am ready to go to bed I walk over to the computer and actually turn it off.
Pamm:  Ohhhhh.
(Alex shaking his head.)

Tues:

Well, we finished the bookshelves today!  Woohoo!  All 6 sanded, sealed, sanded, sealed, sanded, stain/varnished!

Finishing early gave us some time to play with the children but not too much because we left early to go to PriceSmart (just like Sam's Club.)  Pamm asked Valerie what her heart's desire is and she immediately responded that it would be wonderful to have a TV and DVD for the school and a monitor for her computer so she can show the students educational video clips.  "Done!" answered Pamm.  So off we went to buy the items from the left over project and unspent Valle money (note...unspent valle money...)

When we got back to Casa LAMB we had another delicious dinner (once again I am thwarted in my hope for free weight loss in HN) and then got busy preparing goodie bags and pinatas for the birthday bash we have planned tomorrow.

We are glued to the TV watching the glorious rescue of the Chilean miners -- full of joy, hope, and prayer.  What a moment it was when the first miner stepped out of the capsule into the arms of his 8 year old son and his wife. Thanks be to God!

Helpers Sergio and Yonibel walk my boot in!
